- Before going into Behavior Analysis, Mr. Fox taught high school, did Crisis Intervention and Outreach in Washtenaw County and served as coordinator at Drug Help, Inc., an agency in Ann Arbor Michigan involved in substance abuse prevention and treatment.
- He returned to school, earned an MS in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and met requirements for Limited License Psychologist (Michigan) in 1987.
- He worked as a Behavioral Psychologist for Washtenaw County Mental Health and PsychSystems from 1987 until 2006, serving children and adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities
- Mr. Fox received board certification as a behavior analyst 2006.
- He then moved to Nashville in 2007 to serve individuals with intellectual disabilities at Cloverbottom Developmental Center before his employment with Beacon Behavioral Consultants.
- Professional affiliations include the Association for Behavior Analysis International and Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis.
